About IIGSD

IIGSD is a charitable organization founded in response to the deep and persistent socio-economic, political, and environmental challenges facing indigenous and marginalized communities in Kenya's arid and semi-arid lands (ASALs) and other underserved regions.

We believe that the communities living in these fragile ecosystems deserve more than survival — they deserve the opportunity to thrive. Our work is grounded in the conviction that immediate, collective, and integrated action is essential to unlock the potential of these regions and the people who call them home.
